Plants, the botanical treasures of Tenerife

Tenerife, the volcanic jewel of the Atlantic, offers an incredible botanical diversity that appeals to nature lovers. From the majestic dragon trees to fire-resistant Canarian pines, through the laurel forests, each corner of the island tells a unique plant story.
Fruit trees are also abundant: avocatiers, orange trees, mango trees or nephrops flourish under the generous sun of the island.

In the spring and summer, red flamboyants and jacarandas offer spectacular blooms. But we must not forget another discreet, but omnipresent wealth: cacti and crassulaceae, perfectly adapted to the arid and rocky areas of the island. They bring graphic and exotic touches to the landscapes of Tenerife.
